Year 10 Te Reo Māori offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Māori language while gaining a deeper understanding of the culture, traditions, and history of Aotearoa New Zealand. You’ll learn to speak, listen, read, and write in Te Reo Māori, while also exploring Māori customs (tikanga), stories (pūrākau), and values. This subject fosters respect, cultural awareness, and a sense of identity, helping you become more connected to the rich heritage of our land.
